Determination of Dustfall according to the Bergerhoff Method

We manufacture the stand with protective basket for holding a pot collector in accordance with VDI 4302 Sheet 2, page 10. We supply the Bergerhoff sampling device complete, including a pot collector made of HDPE polyethylene (food-grade plastic), in compliance with the VDI standard.

The stand is designed in two parts, allowing for easy transport. The holding basket is coated with Rilsan using the fluidized-bed sintering process, providing permanent protection against environmental influences.

The pot collector is equipped with a lid and seal and is frost-resistant.

*"Dustfall is determined by weighing the dry residue. The evaporation vessels are labeled according to the samples. To determine the tare weight of the evaporation vessels, they are dried in an oven at 105 °C for one hour, then cooled in the weighing room for at least 30 minutes, and after equilibration, weighed on an analytical balance.

The tare weight thus determined must be recorded."*
